One of our founding members; K9MUL (Kevin Burkhardt) passed away several years ago. He and Craig (KD8FYT, OVEC President) started the club primarily for Field Day operations. We dedicate this page and our organization to him and in his honor. Kevin was a wonderful person and he is missed deeply by all of us at OVEC.

One of our long time members unfortunately recently passed away in September 2020. Gary (W8SDR) you will be missed by all of us here at OVEC. Many of you may not know that he graciously allowed OVEC to use his analogue UHF repeater (W8SDR) and the repeater will continue to operate under the administration of OVEC in his memory (at his families request).
